Kayl McCann - Animal Planet Debut

We are thrilled to announce that one of our very own ambassador's Kayl McCann of McCann Professional Dog Trainers will be appearing on Animal Planet for her very own episode of 'Breeder of the Pack'.

You can see Kayl as she discusses her breeding tactics, competes at AAC Nationals and juggles her job as a dog trainer. 

The episode will air Friday, December 9 on Animal Planet at 7:30 EST.

Sashas Blend Talk at the OVC

Sashas Blend representative Hillar Sorra made a trip to the Univerity of Guelph on Tuesday to talk with Ontario Veterinary College (OVC) students about degenerative joint disease and the benefits of Sashas Blend.

The talk was very interactive and had students from each year of the program engaged and interested in this fantastic joint supplement.  Students were excited to find out that one of the major Sashas Blend studies took place at the University of Guelph and were eager to learn more about this great product.

November

November can be a blah month so what better way to beat the blahs than with a trade show!  We are busily preparing for the upcoming  Winter Woofstock where we will be bringing some of our feature products and of course our Sashas Blend.

There will be some great vendors at this event with some beautiful and one of a kind products, don't forget to stop by our booth and say 'Hi!'.  For those of you that are lucky enough to be a Woofstock VIP don't forget to dig deep in your bags, we've donated a tasty Terrabone to the first 500 VIPs!

Halloween is a fun time of year, one where we can dress up our four legged friends and let our imaginations go wild with creativity.  We hope everyone has fun and plays safe, remember to keep all those goodies out of reach just in case our pups decide to help themselves, which could result in a costly trip to the vets!

The summer may be cooling down but dog sport season just keeps heating up!

This Thanksgiving weekend will be a busy one for most dog sport enthusiasts, many are taking advantage of the long weekend and heading down to the States for some intense competition in multiple dog sports.

The Ashley Whippet International is being held at Purina Farms in St. Louis Missouri, drawing disc doggers from across North America.  We've donated a HUGE amount of Sashas Blend to this event and can't wait for everyone to reap the benefits of this great product!  We would also like to wish two of our sponsored teams, Rick Rauwerda & Riff Raff and Angela Ewtushik & Rally GOOD LUCK at this event, we know you'll do us proud! Check out the Barknetwork, they will be broadcasting the finals of this event on Saturday!

NAFA is hosting the CanAm tournament this weekend in Indianapolis, Indiana. Canada is sending out the best of the best to this tournament, with defending 2010 Champions "Rocket Relay" ready to defend their title.  We've donated large tubs of Sashas for each club for this event as well as some other goodies competitors will discover in their welcome bags.

Sashas Sponsors Rescues

We are proud to announce that we are following through with our promise to give back to the Animal Community.  In addition to sponsoring our fantastic dog sport teams we are also sponsors to some animal rescues.

Sashas Blend recently donated a large amount of product to NOLA lab rescue in hopes that our fantastic joint supplement will ease some of the aches and pains of labs in need.  This non profit organization has placed many dogs in their first year of operation and look forward to placing even more!

We have also chosen to support the American Belgian Malinois Rescue with a huge supply of Sashas Blend.  We are very impressed with their rescue efforts and are confident they will be able to use Sashas Blend on many of their rescue dogs.

We look forward to hearing even more success stories from these two organizations.

Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog Specialty Show

This past weekend we were pleased to be able to donate prizes to the Catahoula Specialty Show in Petrolia, ON.

These gorgeous animals are a Rare Breed and compete on the Rare Breed Show Circuit.  These Catahoulas also work cattle as well as hogs down in Louisiana in the winter months.

Weight Pulling Fun!

It may seem a little odd to see Angela Ewtushik without a disc in her hand and a dog flying overhead, but this past weekend she tried her hand at Weight Pulling.

The Party with the Big Dogs SUPER SERIES wrapped up this past weekend at Maplelane Goldens in Alliston, ON and was a weekend full of Dock Jumping, Disc Dogging and Weight Pulling.

Angela and her dog Gander finished out the weekend with a top 3 finish in the weight pulling portion with a personal best pull of 755 pounds!
